This project tells of an Italy that looks to the future. An Italy that modernizes communication amongst institutions, improves its international image, and shows the way to host major international events.

Television of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Television of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a multimedia, multi-channel and interactive platform designed to foster two-way communication between the Ministry, embassies, and consular networks. A communication tool that combines the power of television with the practical functions of the intranet and video conferencing. Through the use of ad hoc formats, the Television of the Ministry distributes specific content information, updates, and training. At the same time, it supports cooperation between the embassies, creating a network for the sharing of best practices.

The Video Portal

The Video Portal aims to promote the new positioning of the country’s system to the world: orientation to the future, implementation of changes with speed, credibility and reliability as an international partner. The Video Portal tells of Italian excellence, however it is not a traditional brochure site, but rather a virtual meeting place that creates opportunities for tourism and business.

The Video Portal is designed according to the guidelines of Web 2.0: simple to use,offering information and entertainment services, and above all, practical.

Innovation Design

With innovation design, technology is invisible and provides a service to all people. The innovation design solutions enhance the experience of the most important events in which Italy is the protagonist, such as the G8 Foreign Ministers and the G8 Heads of State.

The Holographic Zen Garden

A garden in which natural elements are made with a holographic projection. Users interact and receive information on major projects, of the eight countries, dedicated to environmental protection.

The World Citizens Pact

At the conclusion of the event, the hosting leader invites the leaders of the other countries to sign a symbolic document which declares the commitments made by world leaders during the forum. The signing of the Pact is reproduced and projected, in real time, on the surface of the most famous places in each of the 8 countries, using state of the art laser technology.

BloGNotes

An agenda that allows for travel notes that are written with a pen on paper, but may also be digitized and posted, on a blog or social network, or sent by email. A service provided for ambassadors and consular agents.
